This is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course. The First Aid portion teaches the skills needed to respond to an emergency until emergency medical services arrive. The student will learn skills including, but not limited to: how to treat bleeding, broken bones, sprains, and shock. The CPR/AED portion of the class teaches adult CPR/AED use and choking, with optional modules in child and infant CPR/AED use and choking. Heartsaver First Aid & CPR/AED teaches skills using AHA's research-proven Practice-While-Watching technique. With proper completion of this class, the student will receive his/her AHA Heartsaver First Aid & CPR/AED Course Completion Card, valid for 2 years. Student Course Manual purchased separately.
