This is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course. It teaches the skills needed to respond to an emergency until emergency medical services arrives. The student will learn skills including, but not limited to: how to treat bleeding, broken bones, sprains, and shock. Heartsaver First Aid teaches skills using AHA's research-proven Practice-While-Watching technique. With proper completion of this class, the student will receive his/her AHA Heartsaver First Aid Course Completion Card, valid for 2 years.
